It is with great sadness that we are reporting the death of Dr. James Kimmel on September 22. Dr. Kimmel is the author of one of our favorite books, Whatever Happened to Mother?, and many insightful and inspiring articles.

Jim was a kind soul who radiated gentleness, warmth and love. His special vision and clear understanding of children's needs and rights has helped families around the world to treat their children with love and compassion. The full impact of his contribution can never be measured, but his wisdom and dedication will surely have a vast and profound effect on future generations. We miss him deeply.
