Grace Llewellyn, author of The Teenage Liberation Handbook is the
founder of the Not Back to School Camp, which she describes as "an exuberant and
inspiring week-long camp for unschooled teenagers" age 13 to 18. The camp meets
annually in Oregon and Vermont.
Camp sessions offer sports, a wide variety of workshops and other unschooled
activities, and vegetarian meals. NBTSC is a non-denominational, non-religious camp
that welcomes diversity. Some work-trade positions and scholarships are available.
The NBTSC website includes the complete text of the camp brochure, registration
forms, testimonials, and other basic information. The NBTSC
