Tribal Baby

Tribal Baby poses the intriguing question "How would we raise our baby if we were in a tribe?" The answers are presented in five sections: Nappy Free baby, Sleep Sharing, Breastfeeding, Baby-led Eating, and Hypnosis for Birth.

Charndra Josling has created an outstanding website covering natural, instinctive baby care, presented in a warm and engaging style. She provides both personal experiences and related research on instinctive parenting. Lovely photos enhance the site.

The section on Nappy Free Babies is particularly extensive, with experiences and strategies for eliminating the need for diapers. Charndra is currently preparing an online course, "Part Time Nappy Free!" that will guide parents with strategies and practical tips.

The Sleep Sharing section is short but nicely organized and compelling. "Why we share our sleep with baby" is a must-read.

"Research tells us that many of the things that our ancestors did through necessity, are still the most beneficial things for our baby today."
