Research: CSPI
Urges FDA to Ban Artificial Food Dyes
A new report by the nonprofit Center for Science in the
Public Interest concludes that food colors pose risks of
cancer, hyperactivity in children, and allergies, and
should be banned, The CSPI has urged the FDA to ban all
nine artificial food dyes. Europe will soon start
requiring foods containing artificial colors to carry a
warning label.
