Global Children's Art Gallery
Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines before submitting a picture:
(Updated July 2009)

  • The age range is from infancy to 12 years. If you're older than 12, you can submit a picture you made when you were younger.
  • Your picture must be hand-made. We're not accepting pictures made with a computer program at this time.
  • Pictures must be scanned at high resolution, not photographed (instructions are on the next page).
  • Please use plain, unlined, unwrinkled paper for your picture.
  • We want to see your best work, so please send full-page pictures, not just doodles or small sketches.
  • Be original - please do not send pictures of copyrighted characters or copies of existing pictures. Use your imagination!
  • For artists age 3 and older, pictures should be made with multiple colors.
  • Please don't send pictures that are scary or violent, or that would be disturbing to younger children.
  • In order to promote peace between cultures, we do not accept pictures that suggest the superiority of one country over others.
  • By submitting a picture, you are giving us permission to use it for products and promotion.
  • Teachers: This is a gallery for pictures sent by children and their families. Please do not use it for school assignments, as we want pictures made through the child's own initiative, as well as a diverse collection of ages and nationalities.

Okay, I have a qualifying picture - what's next?
